Are you UU?
We are Unitarian Christians and as Unitarians we are all part of the worldwide Unitarian family and associated with The International Council of Unitarians and Universalists. In this family going back to the 16th century we find UU as a new member. UU is short for Unitarian Universalism and even if both Unitarianism and Universalism are old religions, the combination Unitarian Universalism was born in the USA in 1961.
We are not UU and consider UU to be an American religion and something quite different from the Transylvanian Unitarian tradition which we are part of. And even different from the European way of thinking church. This said, we are of course happy that UU is among us.
